According to exit polls released after voting ended, the NDA alliance is expected to win a clear majority. Most surveys have predicted that the BJP and JD(U)-led alliance will easily cross the halfway mark of 122 seats in the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly.
On the other hand, the RJD-led Opposition alliance, Mahagathbandhan, is projected to get around 100 or fewer seats, suggesting that it may fall short of forming the government.
