At a rally in Sitamarhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the RJD and said, "RJD is poisoning the minds of Bihar's children." The Prime Minister contrasted the alleged approach of RJD with the NDA government's focus on development and a better future for the state.
As per a report by NDTV, addressing a large crowd, PM Modi referred to election campaigns and slogans which, he said, unveiled the dangerous mindset of the RJD. “What RJD wants to do for the children of Bihar is clearly visible in their election campaign. Listen to the songs and slogans of the 'jungle raj' people. You'll be shocked. On RJD's stages, innocent children are being made to say that they want to become rangdar (extortionists). Should a child of Bihar become a rangdar or a doctor?” he asked, drawing sharp criticism of the Tejashwi Yadav-led party.

He mentioned a recent incident in Samastipur where a minor, speaking from an RJD rally stage, claimed that with the RJD coming into power, they would be able to roam freely with country-made guns or kattas. “Jungle Raj means katta, krurta (cruelty), katuta (social resentment), kushasan (misgovernance), and corruption,” the PM reiterated.
Children should dream of startups, not violence
PM Modi underlined that Bihar's future lies in nurturing ambition and innovation, not promoting violence. "In Bihar, there was a trend of carrying katta and telling people to 'hands up'. But I say, in Bihar, there is no place for that anymore. Bihar needs children who dream of startups, not 'hands up' leaders. We are giving our children books, computers, and laptops, but the RJD wants Bihar's youth to carry katta and dunali," he said. He added that while RJD leaders want their own children to become ministers, they expect others to turn into extortionists.
NDA's developmental agenda
The Prime Minister praised the NDA government under Nitish Kumar for restoring public faith and attracting investors to Bihar. He said that this is one of the ‘Modi ki guarantee’ promises.

“The talk is that Bihar's youth have chosen development. They have chosen the NDA...Bihar will become developed. This election is for building a developed Bihar”, he said, noting the record voter turnout in Phase 1 of the elections.
With the Phase 2 voting slated for next Tuesday across 122 constituencies, PM Modi asked fellow citizens to focus on development. “This election will determine what the future holds for the children of Bihar and the future of your sons and daughters,” he concluded.
