Artificial intelligence (AI) can instantly alter one's voice. Similarly, it can sometimes transform appearances, creating various surprises. No matter how famous an individual may be, no one is safe. The latest addition to this list is Asha Bhosle. Allegedly, her voice is being stolen at random. As a result, the singer has to approach the Bombay High Court. The high court's directive has brought temporary relief to Asha Bhosle.

Using someone's name, voice, or image without permission for promotion or otherwise is legally an offense. Personal property should never be used without consent under any circumstance. Hence, Asha Bhosle's lawyer, Ankit Lohia, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. The singer's complaint stated that her voice is being distorted through artificial intelligence and brazenly used in various places without authorization.

Previously, a similar incident occurred with Arijit Singh. Accusations were made of imitating the singer's voice and style. Arijit's fans also demanded severe punishment for those accused of copying his voice without permission in this incident.

Notably, Asha Bhosle has raised allegations against an American AI platform, several e-commerce sites, and indiscriminate misuse of her voice. Not only that, but Asha Bhosle's images are also being used without any permission. She had filed complaints against several major companies as well.
