The third season of Family Man may soon be among us. Actor Darshan Kumar, who is casted as Major Sameer in the hit Amazon Prime Video series, recently revealed in an interview with Zoom TV that the much awaited series might be released in the coming two to three months.
His comments have set the fans talking again, stoking excitement about the return of the critical spy thriller. Kumar hinted that his character will be taking “the game to a whole new level,” positioning himself as the mastermind leading forces against India. This suggests that Srikant Tiwari is yet to face his worst challenges.
Just like the other two seasons, Season 3 promises to be a high-octane ride, rewriting the boundaries of storytelling. Alongside tackling fresh threats, Srikant will be forced to navigate his own family’s shifting dynamics — a hallmark of the show that has made it relatable to audiences worldwide. Joining the cast this season are Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur as powerful new antagonists.
Their inclusion will take everything to an escalated position raising the stakes, pushing Srikant into uncharted territory. However, other characters are set to return again. Priyamani as Suchitra, Sharib Hashmi as JK, Ashlesha Thakur as Dhriti, and Vedant Sinha as Atharv will reprise their roles, ensuring that the Tiwari family and Srikant’s trusted colleagues remain central to the plot.

Showrunners Raj & DK, who co-wrote the series with Suman Kumar, said in an interview with IANS that they are trying to make the show reach new heights by covering new story, scale and performances.
“We aim to make each season more engaging than the last,” they said, according to the report.
Penned by Raj, DK and Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora and directed by Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth, the upcoming instalment looks set to be the show’s most explosive yet. If Darshan Kumar’s hints are anything to go by, The Family Man Season 3 will deliver a gripping mix of action, espionage and personal drama — all hallmarks of what has become one of India’s most loved streaming series.
