Actor Parineeti Chopra provided fans with a warm peek into her married life with Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha through a light-hearted "fake talk show" video posted on her YouTube page. The informal conversation was laced with banter, joking, and tender moments as the couple talked about their relationship nuances, dating phase, and how they balance politics and Bollywood.
Dating days and 'a politician's promise'
During the dating days, boys show all sorts of dreams, and after marriage, they change!” To this, Raghav wittily replied, “A politician’s promise…”, leaving both of them in laughter.
The actress shared that some of the questions were actually suggested by ChatGPT, one of which read, "Would you and I survive on a dating app?" Raghav was quick to respond, saying, "No! I don't think we would survive there." Parineeti was in agreement, saying, “I don’t think so either. I don’t think we could both be on dating apps because our trust level is very low. Even if we find something on Google, we say, ‘No, check it again."
From Gurdwara blessings to love confessions
The two also talked about their days when they fell in love. Parineeti reminisced about how they confessed "I love you" at the same time on a phone call. "We both said it together, almost at the same time,” she added.
She even remembered going to a Gurdwara in Punjab during the shoot of Chamkila, where she got two offerings of prasad instead of one. "It felt like God was saying, ‘Now you are not one, you have become two," she said. Raghav joined in, remembering it occurred at the historic Talwandi Sabo Gurdwara.
Work-life balance and friendly jabs
When asked about his work-life balance, Raghav admitted, “Before marriage, it was zero. It was only work. No balance, no life. Now, after marriage, there’s some balance and some life.” Parineeti teasingly said she wanted more time together, prompting Raghav to joke, “Then I’ll quit work.”
Married in 2023, the couple is now expecting their first child. Raghav was recently nominated to the parliamentary standing committee on external affairs, terming it "an opportunity to contribute to shaping India’s foreign policy and safeguarding national interests."
