Gold and Silver prices have risen sharply over the last year. The price of gold and silver started rising from the end of last year. It has reached a record high due to continuous growth. However, despite the high prices, the crowd at the jewellery shops on the occasion of Dhanteras on Saturday was visible. Diwali was celebrated on November 1 last year. At that time, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs 80,100 per 10 grams. This year, the price of gold on Dhanteras is Rs 1,28,600 per 10 grams. That is, the price has increased by Rs 48,500 in one year.

Last year, the price of 22-carat gold was Rs 76,150 per 10 grams. This year, the price of gold on Dhanteras has increased to Rs 1,22,850 per 10 grams. That is, the price has increased by Rs 46,700 in one year.

Along with the price of gold, the price of silver has also increased over the last year. Last year, the price of silver was Rs 97,300 per kg on Diwali. This year, the price of silver on Dhanteras has increased to Rs 1,70,650. In other words, the price of silver has increased by Rs 73,350 per kg.
