Since its launch in September, the iPhone 17 Pro Max has created a frenzy among gadget lovers. The 256GB version of this Apple iPhone costs nearly one and a half lakh rupees. For many, it's impossible to pay such a huge amount at once for this expensive phone. Therefore, many have no option but to rely on EMI to buy this phone. But if someone invests that amount of money monthly through SIP in a mutual fund instead of paying EMI for this phone, a market expert has explained how much profit would be made. In this context, the importance of investment has come to the fore again.

If a person plans a 36-month EMI to buy an iPhone worth one and a half lakh rupees, they will have to pay an EMI of approximately 4,200 rupees per month. Experts believe that investing this money in SIP instead of spending it on EMI will yield much more profit over time.

Regarding this, Trivesh D, Chief Operating Officer of Tradejini, said that how one uses money can make a big difference. If someone buys a phone worth one and a half lakh rupees and plans to pay it off in the next three years, that will cost an EMI of approximately 4,100 rupees per month. Instead of buying that phone. If that money is invested 4,100 rupees per month through SIP, that will yield an average return of 12 percent. After three years, it will result in a return of 1 lakh 76 thousand rupees, A return of 29 thousand rupees more than what was deposited. The more expensive the phone, the higher the EMI amount will be, and if that money is invested, it will yield more returns. Instead of buying an iPhone worth 2 lakh 30 thousand rupees, a SIP will get a return of more than 45 thousand rupees.

Alongside this, the expert mentioned another important aspect regarding investment. He informed that the money you spend on various luxury items, like an iPhone, will depreciate in value over time. That means your iPhone, which will be in new condition when you buy it, will deteriorate somewhat after three years. That means its value will decrease. But if you invest, that money will grow.
