The India vs Pakistan clash produced a bizarre moment as bugs interrupted play during the Women’s World Cup, and players had to leave the field for a few moments to allow the ground staff of R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo to spray the bug spray.
During India's innings, there were several interruptions because the ground bugs were bothering the batters and fielders. However, after the completion of the 34th over, the players from both teams left the pitch, and the staff rushed in for pest control. The action was delayed for 15 minutes as staff members sprayed pest control spray; however, no overs were lost.
