"Haarkar jeetne walon ko baazigar kehte hain" – got real once again when Team India won the Asia Cup 2025 final. Pakistan gave a tough fight till the end, but could not hold on as Tilak Varma, the new batting sensation, stood strong till the last over. Sunday couldn't be more dramatic than this.

With this win, India retained the Asia Cup and also claimed the crown for the 9th time. Despite early wickets, India managed to calm down the situation as Shivam Dube once again played a tidy knock and built a 53-run partnership with Tilak Varma.

Pakistan started off brilliantly but couldn’t manage to stop losing wickets. They played like schoolboys playing gully cricket, and without building partnerships, they tried to go for long shots; that’s where luck favoured India.

Spin played a crucial role on this two-paced track in Dubai as Pakistan lost 8 wickets to spin. In 13 overs of spin, they only managed to score 95 runs.

Despite Hardik Pandya's unavailability, Shivam Dube did the job well, and Rinku Singh, who came in as a replacement, played his first match today. He hit the winning runs with a boundary.
