Indian team captain Surya Kumar Yadav refused to do a pre-Asia Cup final photoshoot, and Pakistan captain Salman Agha set the tone for the Asia Cup 2025 final against India, which has already defeated his team twice since the tournament began. Salman acknowledged that both sides will be under a lot of pressure in the final game on Sunday, and anyone who claims that there is no pressure otherwise is lying. India has already defeated Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025, first in the group stage and then in the Super 4s, but Salman remains certain that his team will win.

Even though the odds strongly favor India, Pakistan's skipper is optimistic about their chances, saying, "We will win. We're trying to play our best cricket. And we understand that if we play our best cricket and stick to our strategies for 40 overs, we can beat any team."

Salman has also been challenged about India captain Suryakumar Yadav's choice not to participate in a traditional pre-final photoshoot. When asked about Suryakumar skipping the photoshoot, Salman remarked, "It is entirely up to him whether or not he wants to come. I can't do anything about that.

Addressing Surya Kumar Yadav’s no rivalry comment during the press conference, Salman said, "There is always a lot of pressure on Pakistan and India when they play each other, and if we say that there is no pressure, then it is wrong. Both the teams will have the same amount of pressure.”

"We have made more mistakes than them and that is why we have not won matches. If we make fewer mistakes than them, we will win. Whichever team makes fewer mistakes will win, and we will try to make fewer mistakes. Inshallah, you will see us winning tomorrow," he added.

India has not lost any matches in the Asia Cup so far and will face Pakistan in the chilling final on Sunday . This game will be a surely entertaining and thrilling one, it will demonstrate the long rivalry between India and Pakistan as both Asian cricketing giants will meet each other for the first time in Asia Cup finals’ 41-year-long history.
