Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the application window for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated Class 12 answer sheets today, May 25, 2026.
Students who wish to access scanned copies of their answer books can apply through the official CBSE portal at pvr.cbseit.in before the deadline. The board has fixed the fee for scanned copies at ₹100 per subject, significantly lower than the earlier ₹700 charge.
According to CBSE, the payment can only be made online through credit card, debit card or net banking facilities. Offline payment modes such as cheque, demand draft, postal order or cash will not be accepted.

Students must:

CBSE has advised students to keep a printed copy of the confirmation page after successful submission.
Revaluation schedule to be announced later
The board has also informed students that details regarding the next stage of the re-evaluation process will be announced separately.
According to the official notice, the portal for re-evaluation requests will remain open for at least two days after the final scanned copy of evaluated answer books is made available to applicants.
CBSE clarified that students seeking scanned copies for archival or personal record purposes will also get another opportunity once the current re-evaluation process is completed.
The move is part of the board’s revised post-result system, which allows students to first access scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets before deciding whether to apply for verification or re-evaluation.
Reduced fee brings relief for students
The sharp reduction in fees from ₹700 to ₹100 has been welcomed by many students and parents, especially after repeated concerns over the high cost of accessing answer sheet copies in previous years.

The revised pricing is expected to encourage more students to review their evaluated papers before proceeding with further grievance or rechecking requests.
CBSE had earlier announced Class 12 board examination results this month, after which the board activated the post-result services portal for students seeking answer verification and re-evaluation support.
