After 2 years have passed, the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023 results have finally been published. The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has released a notification on 24 September 2025, confirming the release of the result.
The WBTET exam was held on 24 December 2023, which was followed by protests of candidates for alleged question leak. While Goutam Paul, President of West Bengal Board of Primary Education, dismissed the allegation, stating that the main intent behind the protest is to smear the board’s reputation.
Notification
A notification has been released on the official website of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The notification mentioned that the TET 2023 result will be available at the Board’s website on that day at 6 P.M.
The notification read, "It is hereby notified for information to all concerned that the result of Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023 (TET-2023) (for Classes I to V, Primary), held on 24.12.2023 is being published. The result will be available at Board's website from 06:00 pm (18:00 Hrs.) onwards today.”
How to check WBTET, 2023 result
Candidates who appeared for TET,2023 can check their result by following these steps-
1. Visiting the WBBPE Official Website.
2. Click on the Link: "TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST-2023 (TET-2023) (FOR CLASSES I
TO V, PRIMARY)"
3. Then click on: "RESULT OF TET-2023 (CLASSES I TO V, PRIMARY)"
4. Then enter your Registration Number (generated while applying for TET- 2023 and
Date of Birth (as mentioned in the application of TET-2023)
5. You will be redirected to TET-2023 Result Preview screen to get the result and
print out the same from there.
How to get the OMR answer sheet
According to the WBBPE notification, every candidate’s OMR sheet will be available on the same official website on the next day from 2 P.M.
As the notification read, “Please note that, the image of OMR Sheet of each candidate will be available at the same website and same link tomorrow from 02:00 pm onwards.”
Results Of TET-2023
Almost 273147 candidates appeared for TET-2023 out of 309054 registered candidates. Amongst which 6754 candidates qualified in the examination. Out of the qualified candidates, 64 ranked between ranks 1 to 10.
