Actor Sunny Deol lost his cool on Thursday after spotting a crowd of photographers stationed outside his Mumbai home amid his father Dharmendra’s ongoing health crisis. The visibly upset actor stepped out and scolded the paparazzi for their intrusive behaviour, saying they had “no shame” for invading their privacy during such a sensitive time.

Videos circulating on social media show Sunny walking out of his residence, folding his hands before the photographers and saying, “Aap logon ko sharam aani chahiyeh… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bacche hain… phir bhi video bana rahe ho. Sharam nahi aati?” (You should be ashamed. You also have parents and children, yet you are filming like this. Aren’t you ashamed?)

The incident came just a day after Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital and brought back home. Despite the family’s repeated requests for privacy, photographers have been camping outside the Deol residence since Wednesday.

‘Have some shame,’ says Sunny

The outburst follows days of relentless media attention, first when Sunny and his family visited Dharmendra at the hospital, and later when they returned home. Videos even showed photographers filming food deliveries at the actor’s residence.

In an official statement released on Wednesday, Sunny’s team confirmed that Dharmendra’s treatment will continue at home and appealed for calm. “We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from speculation and to respect the family’s privacy during this time,” the statement read.

Sunny also thanked fans for their continued support, saying, “We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his recovery and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Earlier this week, false rumours about Dharmendra’s health circulated online, prompting his family including wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol to issue clarifications confirming that the 89-year-old actor is stable and recovering well.
