One of the prominent actors who has spent approximately three decades in the Bollywood industry. Recently, the Devdas actor opened up with advice for youngsters who entered the industry on how they stood up for themselves in a heavily manufactured world.
What did Aishwarya Rai advise for newcomers?
In an interview with Brut India, according to Aishwarya, an artist is always on a creative journey of self-discovery and believes that every day is a new day. She also talked about how she is still working and trying to win her fans' admiration.

She explained, “I’m grateful for the love and support. Thank you so much for the appreciation, but I truly feel your journey in the artistic world, or any world you choose, is individual. And your experiences are what will enrich you and help you discover what choices you can make. Because different strokes for different folks. So, you don’t know what’s going to work for you, what’s right or wrong."
Later she added, “All I’d like to say is go out there, discover your passion, and be true to your choices. You have to be your best friend because you have to stand by yourself. What goes on around you isn’t something you can predict or you should be looking at manufacturing in the current world scenario, where so much that gets done is manufactured. There’s no fun, magic, and discovering of what all one can do in the journey of exploring. You have to be alive and experience life, and then bring that to your art. So, be true to who you are. Be brutally honest to yourself.”
Aishwarya Rai’s timeless magic at Cannes
This year, Aishwarya Rai remarked as 24th year at the Cannes Film Festival. Recently, before the Cannes festival, L'Oréal Paris released a promotional video featuring a massive poster of Alia Bhatt on a hotel façade. The posters featured along with Alia Bhatt, Viola Davis, Eva Longoria, and Helen Mirren, but Aishwarya was missing from the posters.

Alia Bhatt was just named the brand's new global brand ambassador in 2024, but Aishwarya has been a part of the company since 2003 and is still one of the most famous faces at the film festival. The brand then replied to this, “Year after year, Cannes after Cannes, she never misses.”
However, Aishwarya made an appearance on the Cannes red carpet. This year, her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also made her red-carpet debut.
