The film fraternity gathered together on Friday to bid a heartfelt farewell to Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actor and filmmaker Sanjay Khan, who passed away in Mumbai at the age of 81.
Family members and other prominent figures from the industry came to pay their final respects at the Juhu crematorium, where her final rites were performed. Her children, Zayed Khan and Sussanne Khan stood beside their father, offering comfort to one another through the grief.

Bollywood unites in grief
Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne’s ex-husband, arrived with his partner Saba Azad to pay his tribute. The ceremony also saw the presence of several Bollywood celebrities including Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Bobby Deol, Jackky Bhagnani, Manisha Koirala, Sonal Chauhan, Tanuja, Bhagyashree, Ranjeet, and filmmaker Sanjay Gupta.
Director Abhishek Kapoor attended the funeral with his wife Pragya, while Sussanne’s partner Arslan Goni remained by her side throughout.
An emotional Zayed Khan was seen carrying his mother’s bier, eyes heavy with tears. Sanjay Khan, frail and heartbroken, was assisted by family members and staff during the rites.

Earlier this year, the Khan family had celebrated Zarine’s 81st birthday, sharing unseen pictures and heartfelt notes on social media remembering her warmth, grace, and unshakeable presence as the matriarch of the family.
Zarine Khan earlier used to live with her husband Sanjay Khan and their four children, Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Khan Ali, and Simone Arora.
