Bollywood stars shower love as women’s team scripts World Cup history

Bollywood erupted in joy and pride as India’s women’s cricket team created history by lifting their first-ever World Cup title in Mumbai.

November 2. Until now, this date glowed on the calendar as Shah Rukh Khan's birthday. But since last night, this day will be remembered by Indians for another reason. The Indian women's cricket team made history at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium by winning the World Cup. Harmanpreet Kaur, Shefali Sharma, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh, and Jemimah Rodrigues have given a fitting reply to many questions. Bollywood too was emotionally moved by the women's victory. Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, among others, have extended their congratulations to the team.

Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he did not blink an eye until the match ended. Big B wrote, "India Women Cricket .. WORLD CHAMPIONS!! So much pride you have brought for us all .. CONGRATULATIONS CONGRATULATIONS CONGRATULATIONS !!!!"

Ajay Devgn is impressed, amazed, and delighted by India's victory. He wrote, "A night we’ll never forget. Thank you, champions. This team has shown the world what true grit and belief can do! "

Priyanka Chopra also wrote, "I grew up watching the heroes in blue… tonight, they all look like her. World champions. Congratulations Team India "

Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty has also congratulated the World Cup-winning girls. In his words, "Sweat. Spirit. Grit. Sheer Heart. And that’s how HISTORY got a glow-up!
