Veteran Bollywood star Dharmendra has been discharged from hospital and will continue his treatment at home, his family has confirmed. His official statement also requested privacy and refuted recent false rumours of his demise.
First marriage – Prakash Kaur & four children
Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954, long before making his film debut.
The couple have four children:
Sunny Deol – Eldest son, became a leading action star with films like Ghayal, Border and Gadar. Married to Lynda (Pooja) Deol; their sons Karan and Rajveer have both entered films.
Bobby Deol – Second son, debuted in the 1990s with hits such as Gupt, Soldier and Humraaz. Married to Tanya Ahuja Deol; they have two sons, Aryaman and Dharam.

Vijeta Deol – Daughter, lives a private life in New Delhi; director at Rajkamal Holdings & Trading Pvt Ltd. Married to Vivek Gill; children Prerna (writer & editor) and Sahil.
Ajeeta Deol – Youngest daughter from first marriage. Residing in California with her husband, with two daughters — Nikita and Priyanka Chaudhri (both dentists; Priyanka also a cosmetologist).
Second marriage – Hema Malini & two daughters
After rising to stardom in the 1970s, Dharmendra married actress Hema Malini in 1980.
Their union blessed them with two daughters:
Esha Deol (born 1981) – The actress debuted in 2002 and starred in films including Dhoom, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Yuva. She later married a businessman named, Bharat Takhtani in 2012, they have two daughters, Radhya and Miraya. The couple announced their divorce in early 2024.

Ahana Deol – Younger daughter; married Delhi-based businessman Vaibhav Vohra. The couple have three children – twin daughters and one son. Ahana is a trained classical dancer but keeps a very low profile.
