Durgesh’s humble acceptance of the honour and his trademark humor made the moment even more endearing for fans. Soon after he shared the post, social media erupted with playful comments. One person on Facebook jokingly wrote, "Award Award khela ja Raha hai…Kheliye Award Award or kheliye, Jitiye award????????????????" Another commented, "Well deserved Phulera Pradhan Pati ????" referring to his Panchayat co-star.
The comment section turned into a mini Phulera Gram Sabha with one fan teasing, “Pradhan of the Year Award??” and another humorously writing in Hindi, “Kukar mein lauki pakaayenge…Phulera ko vikasit banaayenge…Wah bhaiya… garda uda diye aap (Vinod).” - translating to “We’ll cook bottle gourd in the cooker and make Phulera developed… Wah bhaiya, you’ve created a storm!”
Giving a finishing touch of comic nostalgia, one viewer commented, "Dekh rahe ho Vinod kaise tumhare bina award liye ja rahe hain.," which translates as "See Vinod, how he's getting awards without you!"
