This year is not going well at all for singer Neha Kakkar. A few months ago, she faced severe anger from the audience for arriving late on stage at a concert in Sydney. This time, the singer got into legal trouble. Neha's name got linked to a ₹5 lakh fraud.

According to sources, a Mumbai lawyer Shabnam Mohammed Hussain, lost ₹5 lakh in trading. That trading app had used Neha's name and photo for promotion. The lawyer said he invested money in the app, trusting Neha's photo. Due to Neha's photo being there, nothing seemed suspicious to that person. However, police investigation revealed that Neha's photo and name were used in that app without the singer's permission. Police said Neha is not connected to this website in any way.

The lawyer said he first learned about the website in June. Seeing Neha as the brand ambassador, he became interested in this website. Two people from this website spoke with him. They told the lawyer that if he opened an account and deposited money, he would get a large amount of money. On June 18, he sent ₹5 lakh from his account. However, when it was not returned at the scheduled time, he filed a complaint with the police. However, Neha has not responded to this incident so far.
