Palak Muchhal funds heart surgeries for over 3,000 children, enters Guinness World Records

Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal has funded heart surgeries for over 3,000 children, earning her a place in the Guinness World Records for her extraordinary humanitarian work.

Her voice has captured the hearts of many fans. The Bollywood playback singer has won the hearts of many by singing hits in several blockbuster films. Apart from music, Palak Muchhal has been committed to social service since her childhood. She has brought hope into the lives of several thousand children. Not many of us know that this hit Bollywood singer conducts concerts only for the underprivileged. As time passed, she did various charitable works. Recently, more than 3,800 children underwent heart surgeries with the help of Palak, and she made it to the Guinness World Records as well as the Limca Book of Records.

Palak started her humanitarian work when she was very young. The ‘Palak Palash Charitable Foundation’ has been able to conduct heart surgeries for numerous children. A certain incident that happened during a journey by train changed her life completely. She had silently promised herself that one day, she would stand by these people.

She was then seven or eight years old. After watching the plight of the underprivileged children, she decided she would always support the underprivileged. She once sang on the streets to collect ₹25,000 for the treatment of soldiers injured in the Kargil War.

She did not stop there. She also raised around ₹51,000 to fund heart surgeries for schoolchildren. This marked the beginning of Palak’s Heart Foundation. For her humanitarian work, she became the first Bollywood female singer to be recognised in the Guinness World Records.
