Model and actress Pavitra Punia has announced her engagement to a US-based entrepreneur, months after her breakup with actor Eijaz Khan. The Bigg Boss 14 contestant revealed the news on Instagram on Wednesday, posting pictures from a coastal location with her fiancé.
“Locked in love made it official. #pavitrapunia soon to be Mrs.,” she wrote, alongside a series of photographs that show her dressed in an orange gown, exchanging rings and sharing a quiet moment by the sea.
The announcement quickly drew attention from fans and industry colleagues. Actor Krissann Barretto commented, “I knew first, hehe. Congrats my loveee. I’m really thrilled for you!” while Supriya Shukla added, “God bless… I’m very thrilled for you. Be happy forever.”
He’s a businessman, not an actor,’ says Pavitra
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Punia confirmed that her fiancé is “a businessman from the United States, not an actor,” adding, “He’s a great and compassionate individual. We’ve been going steady for quite some time now, and it feels good.”
Punia and Eijaz Khan began dating on the sets of Bigg Boss 14 in 2020. They announced their breakup in 2024 after four years together. At the time, Punia had said, “Everything has a shelf life. Eijaz and I split ways a few months ago. I will always wish him well.”
She later revealed that “too much masculinity and too much femininity” had caused the relationship to falter.
Most recently, Pavitra Punia appeared in Discovery Channel India’s survival reality show Reality Rani of the Jungle Season 2.
