Shah Rukh Khan was once asked in an interview about which of his films he loved most. The Baadshah of Bollywood promptly replied, "All my films are like my children." His fans feel similarly-it's difficult for them to choose any one favourite of Shah Rukh's movies. Yet, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham remains one of Shah Rukh's most popular films.

Interestingly, the actor once mentioned that he was shocked when he first saw himself in one of the song sequences of the film. The song "Suraj Hua Maddham" is still remembered and loved by the audience. In that song, Shah Rukh was seen dancing in a thin shirt. When he saw himself like that on the big screen for the first time, he reportedly exclaimed, "What is this! I look almost naked on screen!"

During a fan meet organised on his birthday, Shah Rukh recounted this old incident and said, “Back then, I was very skinny. I had no muscles or fat at all. Now, when I look back at those scenes, I feel really embarrassed.” Hearing this, the audience burst into laughter.
