A biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother, Hiraben Modi, is likely to be made. The official announcement for the film was made this year in September. Speculation about who will portray the character of Modi's mother has been doing the rounds. As per reports, Raveena Tandon might essay Hiraben's character.

According to sources, the film is likely to be titled “Maa Vande” and will be directed by Kranthi Kumar Chaudhary. Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan is said to portray the role of Prime Minister Modi. Raveena has reportedly begun intense preparation for her role. As Hiraben had passed away in 2022, Raveena cannot directly consult her, but she is researching videos and depending on insider accounts to know about Hiraben's personality in detail.

The film will delve into the relationship between mother and son, covering Modi's childhood, adolescence, and youth, and showcasing various chapters of his bond with his mother. VFX will also be used in the movie. The music will be by Ravi Basrur, while the film's editing is by Sreekar Prasad.
