Hollywood's crush Tom Cruise and actor Ana de Armas have reportedly reconnected, years after their brief romance. According to a new report by RadarOnline, the two stars have rekindled a more relaxed relationship while working together again.
Sources cited in the report claim the pair have found a “better balance” this time around, describing their connection as a “friends with benefits” arrangement rather than a traditional relationship. Insiders said the duo are “enjoying each other’s company” without the pressure of marriage or family plans.
Tom Cruise aged 63, and Ana de Armas who is 37, first met on the set of the 2019 film Wasp Network, where they developed a close friendship that later turned romantic. They went their separate ways after a few months but reportedly grew close again while collaborating on director Doug Liman’s upcoming project Deeper.
‘They’re in sync professionally’
A source told RadarOnline that the time apart helped the actors reconnect on better terms. “They’re in sync professionally and comfortable around each other in a way that comes from shared history,” the insider said.
The report adds that Cruise’s relaxed approach may not sit well with some members of his Scientology circle, but the actor remains unfazed. “He’s mad for Ana,” the source added, noting that Cruise “deeply admires her work ethic and creativity.”
Both stars are said to have moved on from the idea of settling down but continue to share a strong bond built on respect and past connection.
