About Final Destination series
The Final Destination franchise consists of six horror films, ten novels, and two comic books, all based on an unused spec script by Jeffrey Reddick for the television series The X-Files. The plots revolve around a group of people who narrowly escape death after one person has a premonition of an impending disaster, and then the survivors are killed off in a series of bizarre accidents (often triggered by an unseen force, such as Death, which sets off elaborate Rube Goldberg machines).
