Diane Keaton, a unique talent of Hollywood, an extraordinary face, has passed away at the age of 79. The family of this Oscar-winning actress has confirmed the news of her death. People Magazine has reported that the family wants to maintain privacy during this moment of grief and is reluctant to share further details about this matter.

However, a close friend told People Magazine that Diane Keaton's health had not been good for the past few months. She spent her final moments only with family, completely distancing herself from friends as well. According to reports, she herself had revealed her health-related struggles. Her illness was a type of eating disorder, where patients begin eating excessively and lose control over food.

With her remarkable performance in 'The Godfather' in the seventies and forming a creative partnership with director Woody Allen, Diane Keaton became a unique Hollywood icon. Her sensitive, spontaneous performance in the timeless 1977 film 'Annie Hall' earned her world-class honors, including the Oscar for Best Actress, Golden Globe, and BAFTA- a character that still defines romantic comedy today.

Diane Keaton's acting career spanned more than six decades, and she was a living legend. From 'The Godfather' to 'The First Wives Club', eight unique films with Woody Allen, she left an indelible mark on every character. Her androgynous style, turtleneck sweaters, and distinctive hats became an iconic symbol of Hollywood fashion.

Her performances as journalist Louise Bryant in 'Reds', Leonardo DiCaprio's caring aunt in 'Marvin's Room', and opposite Jack Nicholson in 'Something's Gotta Give' earned her Oscar nominations. However, 'Annie Hall' established her as a complete actress. The film was created based on her personal relationship with Woody Allen.

Her performances in 'Annie Hall' and 'Looking for Mr. Goodbar' earned her a place on the cover of Time Magazine's September 1977 issue. 'Rolling Stone' called her 'the next Katharine Hepburn'.

Keaton was not just an actress; she was also a director, writer, producer, and photographer. She had a deep interest in restoring old mansions in California. She wrote two memoirs-'Then Again' (2011), which revealed her struggle with bulimia in her twenties, and 'Let's Just Say it Wasn't Pretty' (2014), which captured stories of beauty and self-identity.

Her personal life was also the center of discussion. She had romantic relationships with Woody Allen, 'Reds' co-star and director Warren Beatty, and Al Pacino, who played her lover and husband in 'The Godfather'.
