The 35-year-old artist sustained severe head and spinal injuries in a road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27. His motorcycle collided with stray cattle, which led to a heinous accident.

According to a Hindustan Times report, doctors informed that Jawanda’s neurological state was critical. He had a very low brain activity and no noticeable improvement despite extensive medical care. Soon after the accident, his health was classified as "extremely critical," and he had been on life support since that time.

He also made his impact on Punjabi cinema, appearing in films such as Jind Jaan, Mindo Taseeldarni, and Kaka Ji. Surnames Kamla, Mera Dil, and Sardari were among Jawanda's most popular hits.

According to his Apple Music biography, he originally wanted to be a police officer, but instead, he chose to pursue his actual passion. He started his music career with a hit single, “Munda like me” in 2014.

After the accident, Diljit Dosanjh, the renowned singer and actor from Punjab, paused his concert in Hong Kong to offer a heartfelt prayer for Rajvir, whom he called one of his dearest brothers. He urged the audience, saying, "Please pray for him. Prayers have an enormous effect. He should get better soon and return to us, back on stage." Diljit, visibly emotional, praised Rajvir's character, highlighting how the young singer has avoided controversies and won hearts with his performances and humility.

His sudden death left the entire Punjab music industry and his admirers shocked.
