This ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage’ was announced at the South Indian International Movie Awards, a ceremony where the film’s team itself was seen celebrating multiple wins.
The excitement held by fans was seen reaching new heights, obviously. The official confirmation of a third installment's arrival was taken by director Sukumar, with the setting being the South Indian International Movie Awards in Dubai. The Pushpa team itself emerged as the undeniable victors of the evening, their winning a full total of five awards being the talk of the ceremony. Among these, the category of Best Actor was claimed, and quite decisively, by Allu Arjun, while across the stage, Best Actress was taken by Rashmika Mandhana.
The Award event host raised the question about the possibility of “Pushpa 3.” After this, a moment was shared with producer Naveen Yerneni and Allu Arjun, leading to Sukumar’s declaration: “Obviously, Pushpa 3 undi.” This statement, of course, delighted the fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter since “Pushpa 2: The Rule.”
Awards Sweep -
Their dominance at the awards was marked by several wins. Best Music Composer was taken home by Devi Sri Prasad, while Best Playback Singer was claimed by Shankar Babu Kandukuri for the popular song “Peelings,” as reports have indicated.
Allu Arjun’s Gratitude -
His joy was shared by Allu Arjun on social media, where videos from the event were posted alongside thanks for his team and fans. He wrote, “Winning 3 back-to-back SIIMA awards is truly a humbling moment… I dedicate this award to my fans for the unwavering love & support.”
A wait is there but the hope’s all-time high for the sequel's arrival. Both Allu Arjun and Sukumar are currently held by separate projects. A collaboration is underway between Allu Arjun and director Atlee on the sci-fi film “AA22xA6,” while “RC17” with Ram Charan is being directed by Sukumar. A reunion of the duo is expected once these films are completed, from the official channels, no release dates for “Pushpa 3” have been announced.
