The long-awaited fight between YouTube celebrity-turned-boxer Jake Paul and WBA lightweight champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Far from being a mere celebrity attraction, the fight will have professional-level regulations, three official judges, and a definitive result, even though it is an exhibition.

Official rules bring surprise and controversy

As reported by Khel Now and talkSPORT, the fight will be at a 195-pound catchweight, a move that clearly caught Davis off guard in the New York launch press conference. "Y'all said it was 190," Davis responded, only for Paul's business partner Nakisa Bidarian to confirm the increased limit. Paul, a natural cruiserweight who once fought at 227 pounds for a heavyweight fight, has a considerable size advantage over Davis, who has never competed at a weight above 140 pounds.

The fight will go for 10 three-minute rounds with 12-ounce gloves rather than the standard 10-ounce professional. Complete USADA drug testing will be implemented, and if the fight goes the distance, a winner will be determined by three commission-approved judges from the Florida Athletic Commission. The exhibition decision will not be shown on their professional records, but it will have genuine bragging rights.

When and how to watch worldwide

Viewers can watch the event live on Netflix at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT in the US. Times internationally are 1 AM GMT in the UK, 2 AM CET in Europe, 6:30 AM IST in India, and 12 PM AEDT in Sydney on Friday, November 15.

With Davis' speed and Paul's size, this Miami clash is set to provide both spectacle and a clear-cut decision, making it one of 2025's most intriguing bouts for boxing.
