A young man’s relationship with a girl led to a violent confrontation after her brother objected to their affair. The brother had warned his sister to end all contact with the man, which angered her boyfriend. Enraged, the accused allegedly stabbed his girlfriend’s brother to death on a busy road. The incident took place on Saturday evening in the Sihani Gate area of Ghaziabad.
According to police sources, the name of the deceased young man is Nitin Singh (23). The name of the young man accused of killing him is Sunny Yadav (20). Sunny had recently developed a romantic relationship with Nitin's younger sister, Riya. Nitin objected to this. He had advised Riya not to talk to Sunny and had also informed the family members about the matter.

On Saturday evening, around 7:30, Nitin and Sunny met in the Sihani Gate area. The two got into an argument about the relationship with Riya. At that time, Sunny allegedly took out a knife from his pocket and started attacking Nitin. Sunny fled from the scene after stabbing him several times in the stomach.
Nandgram ACP Upasana Pandey said that police went to the spot after receiving information. Injured Nitin was rescued and taken to the hospital. But doctors declared him dead there. After this incident, the deceased's father filed a complaint at the Sihani Gate police station. Police registered an FIR against the accused under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police then arrested the accused after conducting searches at various places. During police interrogation, Sunny said that Riya's family members had objected to his relationship with Riya. There had been several incidents of arguments about this in the past.
