Twenty-five members of the transgender community were hospitalised after consuming phenyl. This incident in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has caused an uproar. According to police sources, they consumed phenyl together on Wednesday night. They were quickly rescued and admitted to a government hospital.

The 25 individuals are admitted to Indore's Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital. Hospital superintendent Basantkumar Ningwal said, ”Twenty-five members of the transgender community are admitted to our hospital. They have claimed that they consumed phenyl together. However, nothing can be confirmed about this matter right now.”

The superintendent also informed that everyone's physical condition is now stable. However, it is still not clear why such an incident suddenly occurred.

According to a Deccan Chronicle report, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandtiya said that the initial investigation is going on. Once those undergoing treatment at the hospital recover, the actual cause of this incident will be known after speaking with them. However, sources suggest there was unrest between two groups within the community over some issue. This incident may have occurred as a result of that.
