Mild 3.5 magnitude earthquake shook East Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh; no damage or casualties reported.

A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 hit East Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday morning, reported the National Center for Seismology (NCS).

According to NCS, the quake occurred at 8:31 AM IST and had its epicenter at 27.52°N latitude and 92.85°E longitude at a shallow depth of 5 km.

People experienced momentary shaking, but no casualties or damage to property have been reported. The area is still being watched over by authorities and residents are cautioned to remain vigilant.
