A minor from Afghanistan lands at Delhi airport, travelling from Kabul on a Delhi-bound flight's landing gear. It all happened out of mere curiosity, as the minor reached Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport at around 11 AM on Sunday after precisely positioning himself in the landing gear of a 2-hour-long flight.

According to official sources, the boy managed to enter the Kabul airport's restricted area. He then manages to hide inside the rear central landing gear bogey of KAM Air flight RQ-4401, which departed from Kabul, landing in Delhi after nearly two hours.

Airport staff first noticed the minor loitering near the aircraft, after which the airport security was immediately informed.

According to official information, it's been found that the minor is a resident of the Kunduz area in northern Afghanistan. He has been apprehended by the airline staff and handed over to the CISF, responsible for the airport security. Later, he was taken to Terminal 3 for interrogation.

According to PTI sources, the minor revealed that he boarded the plane out of sheer curiosity. He had no idea of the dangers associated with sitting in the landing gear. Officials reported that the aircraft returned to Kabul from Delhi around 12:30 pm on Sunday. The boy was sent back to Afghanistan on the return flight.

It has been reported that KAM Airlines security personnel thoroughly inspected the landing gear area. There, they found a small red speaker. They believe it belonged to the minor. Officials have stated that they also investigated whether there was any plan to carry out sabotage on the aircraft. After a thorough search, the aircraft was declared safe for boarding.
