SBI services to be down? IMPS, NEFT, UPI payments could tank — all details here

SBI services will be down at the end of the week, according to a latest announcement by the banking giant.

The country's largest state-owned bank, SBI's services will be down on Friday at midnight. State Bank customers will not be able to conduct various types of transactions during that time. This news was announced by the State Bank of India through a post on the X handle on Friday afternoon.

SBI has announced that there will be a service disruption from 1:10 AM to 2:10 AM on October 11. State Bank's server will be down for one hour due to scheduled maintenance work. As a result, various transaction-related services will not be available. Therefore, the largest bank in the country has advised customers to refrain from any banking activities during that time. However, the bank has announced that all services will become normal by the scheduled 2:30 AM.

However, State Bank has announced that ATM services will remain normal even if all these services are not available. Along with this, UPI Lite services will also remain normal. However, transactions of more than one thousand rupees cannot be made at once through UPI Lite.

Due to scheduled maintenance activity, SBI’s services, including UPI, IMPS, YONO, Internet Banking, NEFT & RTGS, will be temporarily unavailable from 01:10 hrs to 02:10 hrs on 11.10.2025 (60 Minutes). These services will resume by 02:10 hrs on 11.10.2025 (IST), says the announcement.
