The Raghopur race has taken a dramatic turn, with RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav edging ahead of BJP’s Satish Kumar in the 20th round of counting. Tejashwi now stands at 77,646 votes, leading by 3,523, while Kumar trails with 74,123-keeping the battle intense and closely watched.
Earlier in the Raghopur constituency, BJP's Satish Kumar took a lead in Raghopur with 35,635 votes, maintaining a slender lead of 2,288 over RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who has secured 33,347 votes so far, after the ninth round of counting, as per the reports of ECI.

Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav took a narrow lead, pulling past BJP candidate Satish Kumar by 219 votes, but now is coming back at it again.
This year, Raghopur's main contest featured Tejashwi Yadav from the RJD, Satish Kumar Yadav from the BJP, and Chanchal Kumar of the Jan Suraaj Party (JSP).
About the constituency
Raghopur, numbered 128 in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, is part of the Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency. It is a general seat, not reserved for SC or ST candidates. During the 2020 Assembly elections, the constituency had a total of 3,44,369 voters, including 1,85,106 males, 1,59,258 females, and five third-gender voters. Additionally, 1,097 postal votes were cast, and 1,320 service voters were registered.
