31st August, Sunday: An Air India flight, Al2913, en route from Delhi to Indore, was forced to return to Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi on Sunday, August 31, morning after the crew received an indication of a fire in the right engine. Though the aircraft landed safely, an investigation into this incident is underway. All passengers are being accommodated on an alternative flight. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the cause of the alert.

The airline owned by the Tata Group stated without providing any additional information that "Flight AI2913, operating from Delhi to Indore on August 31, air-returned to Delhi shortly after takeoff, as the cockpit crew received a fire indication for the right engine."

Already, social media is creating buzz around the incident. Just a month ago, Air India was accused of the deadliest airplane crash in India's history.

Recently, when the AI 171 plane crash happened, flight IX 255 Air India from Indore to Sharjah was cancelled at the last moment. This time, the netizens are going for the 'positive vibes'.

On the thread of this breaking news, one wrote, "Glad to hear the crew acted quickly and prioritised safety. Better safe on the ground than sorry on the air". Another X user wrote, “People's lives became a joke to them.”
