Delhi began the day with a foggy morning on Friday, with light fog and mist affecting visibility in different areas of the city. The air remained calm during the early morning hours, and there were no weather warnings issued by the Indian Meteorological Department.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature in the capital touched 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 60 per cent, which led to the formation of mist in the city during the early morning hours.

The weather conditions are expected to remain much the same in the coming days. The mist in the morning is expected to continue, while the maximum temperatures are expected to rise gradually.
The maximum temperature on February 21 is expected to remain around 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to rise to 13 degrees Celsius. From February 22 to February 25, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures are expected to remain between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius. There are no warnings during this period.

Air Quality remains in poor category
Air pollution remained a concern on Friday as some stations were still in the poor category of the Air Quality Index. Anand Vihar recorded 274, R K Puram 253, and Chandni Chowk 251. Other areas also recorded high pollution levels: Wazirpur 232, ITO 191, IGI Airport 177, and IIT Delhi 159.
Authorities advised people with respiratory ailments, the elderly, and children to avoid spending too much time outdoors as air pollution remains high. The capital is expected to experience the same conditions due to the constant temperature and haze.
