Two doctors from Jammu and Kashmir have been arrested after the recovery of a massive cache of explosives, arms, and ammunition from a house in Haryana’s Faridabad. The accused, Adeel Ahmad Rather and Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie were associated with the Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in Faridabad.
According to police sources cited by NDTV, the arrests followed the interrogation of Rather, who was picked up from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. He was among seven individuals held after the Jammu and Kashmir Police uncovered an interstate and transnational terror module.

350 kg explosives, rifles, and timers seized
Raids conducted at Ganaie’s rented accommodation in Faridabad led to the recovery of about 350 kg of explosives, suspected to be ammonium nitrate, along with one Carom Cok rifle, two automatic pistols, 84 live cartridges, five litres of chemicals, and 20 electronic timers with batteries. Officials also found 14 bags of explosive material and a rifle with ammunition in a Maruti Suzuki Swift car registered to a female doctor working at the same institute.
Police said Ganaie, a native of Pulwama, worked closely with Rather at Al-Falah. Further investigation revealed that Rather had previously served at a government medical college in Anantnag, where an assault rifle was later found in his locker.
Funds raised under guise of charity
As per the police statement reported by NDTV, the accused allegedly used encrypted online channels for indoctrination, coordination, and fund transfers. Investigators believe money was routed through professional and academic networks, masked as social or charitable causes.

Authorities further claim the network was involved in radicalising youth, recruiting operatives, and arranging logistics for IED preparation.
