Fire breaks out in Rashtrapati Bhavan. A fire broke out in a house near Gate No. 31 of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday afternoon. The fire brigade was rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the fire. Five fire engines rushed to the spot to control the fire.

According to Delhi Fire Service officials, the fire was reported at 1.51 pm on Tuesday. The fire broke out in the two-storey apartment building, No. 19, near Gate No. 31 of the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises. Panic spread. As the fire broke out in a high-security zone like the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the emergency services were on full alert.

Fire brigade officials said a small fire broke out on the ground floor of Narmada Apartments in the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises. The fire was brought under control around 2:15 p.m. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within 20 minutes. It is not yet clear what caused the incident. The matter is being investigated. However, no one was injured in the incident, fire brigade officials said.
