ISRO's (Indian Space Research Organisation) heaviest payload-carrying rocket, the LVM3-M5, also known as Bhaubali, is set to be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota, located in Andhra Pradesh.
This is going to be the fifth launch of the LVM3-M5 rocket. During its launch, the rocket is scheduled to carry the heaviest payload, the CMS-03, a multi-band communication satellite, to the Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).
According to a Hindustan Times report, the 43.5-metre-tall Bahubali rocket has already been moved to the second launch pad at the spaceport for pre-launch preparations.
The rocket had already been assembled, integrated with the spacecraft, and moved to the Launch Pad on October 26 for further pre-launch operations. In its previous mission, the rocket had been used to launch the Chandrayaan-3 mission, leading India to be the first country to land on the lunar south pole.
