Kerala IT worker Anandu Aji had fallen mentally ill, suffering silently inside. At just 26 years old, he chose the path of suicide. Before committing suicide, Anandu had scheduled a post on Instagram. In that post, he brought explosive allegations one after another against the RSS.
The body of this young man, a resident of Thambalakad in Kottayam, was recovered from a lodge in Thiruvananthapuram. After his death, a post appeared on his Instagram. He had probably scheduled that post before committing suicide, meaning he had set the date and time for when it would appear on Instagram. There, Anandu said, "No girlfriend, no financial problems, no family troubles – mental illness is responsible for my death."
According to the IT worker, his father had enrolled him in an RSS branch during childhood. But at just 3-4 years of age, he became a victim of sexual abuse at the branch. One person continuously raped him. Other volunteers also regularly sexually abused him. Not only him, but other children were also sexually abused in the same way. Anandu alleged that the sexual abuse had a major impact on his mental health. He had to take medicine regularly to cope with that shock. Even then, he could not overcome that trauma. That is why he decided to commit suicide. He warned parents, saying they should never enroll their children in any Sangh branch under any circumstances.
