Actress Malti Chahar, sister of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, opened up about her memorable first meeting with former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, describing him as a humble and sweet person.
Actor and model Malti Chahar, who recently entered Bigg Boss 19 as a wildcard contestant, revealed her first encounter with cricket legend MS Dhoni back in 2018. Speaking to ANI, she shared how that moment became one of her most cherished memories.
“I met Mahi Bhaiya for the first time when my brother was playing for CSK. He asked me if I wanted to meet Mahi. I said yes, why not? This was my first time meeting a cricketer,” Malti said with a smile.
"I had gone to Chennai for a shoot. So, the team had stopped in Chennai. That was in 2018. It was the first time that I was meeting a cricketer, and it was Mahi Bhaiya. I really loved his aura. He is a very sweet person. He is a darling,” she said, as quoted by ANI.
Malti, who gained recognition from the film ‘Genius’, is now creating waves inside the Bigg Boss 19 house. Her interactions with fellow contestant Tanya Mittal have caught attention, especially after their light-hearted conversations went viral online.
Meanwhile, her brother Deepak Chahar, known for his strong bond with Dhoni both on and off the field, continues to be a key player for CSK in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
MS Dhoni, who led India to multiple major titles, remains one of the most admired figures in Indian cricket, and Malti’s fond memory adds yet another layer to his warm public image.
