The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has received a total of ₹918.6 crore in donations to its various trusts between November 2024 and October 2025, officials said on Wednesday.
TTD chairman B R Naidu said contributions to the temple body have shown a steady rise since he assumed office, with donors increasingly preferring digital payment methods. “Of the total donations received, ₹579.38 crore came through online channels and ₹339.20 crore through offline contributions,” Naidu told PTI.
Among the multiple trusts under the TTD, the Sri Venkateswara (SV) Annadanam Trust, which provides free meals to the pilgrims, received the highest amount at nearly ₹339 crore, followed by ₹252 crore to the Srivani Trust and around ₹98 crore to the Sri Balaji Aarogya Varaprasadini Scheme.
Annadanam Trust leads, online giving rises
The SV Pranadana Trust received almost ₹67 crore, the SV Gosamrakshana Trust over ₹56 crore, and the SV Vidyadanam Trust ₹33.47 crore. The Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research & Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD) Trust got around ₹30 crore, while the SV Sarvashreyas Trust received ₹20.46 crore, according to Naidu.
Additional donations included ₹13.87 crore to the SV Veda Parirakshana Trust, ₹6.29 crore to the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC), and ₹1.52 crore to the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS).
Naidu said officials have been directed to ensure donors receive proper respect and facilities in recognition of their support. The TTD manages several charitable and educational initiatives that includes free food distribution, healthcare aid and the preservation of Vedic learning.
The Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala remains one of the world’s richest and most visited Hindu temples that attracts nearly three crore pilgrims annually.
