Zubeen Garg's cousin, Sandipan Garg, an Assamese police officer, was taken into custody in connection with the singer's unexplained death in Singapore on September 19.
On Wednesday, October 8, an officer from the Assam Police Service (APS) named Sandipan was arrested. It has been reported that he was at the scene when Zubeen was killed in the tragic scuba diving incident in Singapore.
Following multiple rounds of questioning by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with members of Zubeen's family, Sandipan was placed under arrest. The current investigation has made a major advancement with his arrest.
