There have been new claims of a bomb threat against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's Chennai apartment. Similar threats have also been reported by police against the home of South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan and the Tamil Nadu BJP's main office in Chennai.

Upon receiving news of the threat, police have initiated an investigation. Police, accompanied by sniffer dogs, have commenced a thorough search of actress Trisha's residence in Chennai's Teynampet area following the bomb threat. Simultaneously, an investigation into the threat against the Chief Minister's residence is underway.

This is not an isolated incident. Previously, on August 15th, India's Independence Day, Stalin faced a similar bomb threat during the flag-hoisting ceremony. In the aftermath, police apprehended an individual named Ganesh. Moreover, in July, reports surfaced of a bomb threat at Stalin's residence, though that particular threat was subsequently proven to be a hoax.
