Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji honoured at National Film Awards 2025

The Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji won National Award for the first time at the function on Tuesday for the 71st National Film Awards. These awards honor their accomplishments for 2023. The awards were given to both upcoming talented artists and celebrated actor highlighting the development of Indian film industry.

Shah Rukh Khan was awarded Best Actor for his incredible performance in the film "Jawan," and Vikrant Massey shared the prize for his beautiful performance in the film "12th Fail." The two great actors got their hands on their first National Film Awards. Rani Mukerji was awarded the award for Best Actress for her role in "Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway." These films 'Flowering Man' and 'God Vulture and Human' was awarded in non-feature and documentary categories respectively. These films excel in showcasing the power of talent across genres. The film ‘Aatmapamphlet’ was awarded under the category of Best Debut Film of a Director. The film 'Naal 2' was awarded under the category of Best Children’s Film. The winner of awards for technical excellence consisted of Shilpa Rao as the Best Female Playback Singer for 'Jawan', PVN S Rohit for the Best Male Playback Singer and Vaibhavi Merchant for Best Choreography.
