The LIC AAO Prelims is taking place today, that is on the 3rd of October, 2025. It is built across four one-hour shifts. A smooth process hinges on a key, simple detail: candidate punctuality.
Exam schedule and shifts
Shift timings are:
Shift 1: 8:00 AM reporting, 9:00–10:00 AM exam
Shift 2: 10:30 AM reporting, 11:30–12:30 PM exam
Shift 3: 1:00 PM reporting, 2:00–3:00 PM exam
Shift 4: 3:30 PM reporting, 4:30–5:30 PM exam
The online objective test comprises 100 questions in total. The segregation is 35 questions each from Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, and 30 from the English Language. English is qualifying only and does not count toward the final ranking.
Results and official answer key
LIC AAO Prelims results are expected by the second or third week of October 2025. Coaching institutes will release unofficial answer keys, while the official answer key will be published on licindia.in from October 10.

Candidates can challenge the official answer key by following the steps listed below:
1. Logging into the Answer Key Objection Window with registration number and date of birth.
2. Selecting questions to dispute.
3. Uploading supporting documents in PDF format.
4. Paying the objection fee.
5. Submitting and downloading a copy for reference.
