Many prefer to eschew makeup. However, during Durga Puja, anyone's skin demands that extra radiance. While numerous cosmetics promising instant glow flood the market, they often fall short of their advertised efficacy when applied. What, then, is the solution? A few home remedies will yield tangible results.

But which concoctions suit which skin types?

For oily skin, a blend of cucumber, aloe vera, gram flour, and a pinch of turmeric will transform it into a lustrous pearl-like sheen. Cucumber is invaluable in maintaining youthful skin and revitalizing it. Just as this fruit maintains the body's water balance when consumed in our daily, hectic lives, it can also restore moisture to the skin's surface.

Sour yogurt aids in maintaining the oiliness of dry skin. The primary issue with dry skin is dead cells or lifeless skin. Without removing these dead cells, no matter how expensive the cosmetics applied externally, the lost luster won't return. A scrub comprising honey, sour yogurt, and oatmeal is genuinely beneficial.

Natural ingredients such as rose water, orange peel, and turmeric can significantly alleviate this skin issue. In this regard, one can spray rose water on the face at any time of day. A pack of rose water with orange peel and a pinch of turmeric will bring a golden radiance to the face.
