5 symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency: Check out if you're exhausted all the time

Millions of people are still unaware of it, but vitamin D deficiency is a serious issue that affects millions of people worldwide. Our body can create vitamin D from sunlight unlike the majority of other vitamins. However, deficiencies are alarmingly increasing as a result of modern indoor living sunscreen use and limited sun exposure. Numerous health issues such as recurrent infections, muscle weakness, mood swings and bone issues can result from low vitamin D levels.

Since many of the symptoms are non-specific and the effects are minor it may go unnoticed. This is the reason it's critical to be informed and understand how to spot it early. Here are some symptoms:

Low energy and ongoing fatigue

Even with adequate sleep you can feel exhausted all the time, Vitamin D deficiency can cause you to feel exhausted and have less energy which makes it difficult to carry out daily tasks.

Weak immunity or recurrent Illness

Always, speak with your doctor before beginning and you may also need a vitamin D supplement if your levels are extremely low.
