You don’t always need meat to enjoy a filling snack. With a few ingredients and simple steps, paneer can be transformed into a delicious spring roll. Adding spinach makes it both nutritious and tasty. Here’s the full recipe for a perfect homemade treat.

Ingredients:

  1. Flour: 100 gm
  2. Grated paneer: 100 gm
  3. Grated cheese: 1 cube
  4. Cumin powder: ½ tsp
  5. Coriander powder: ½ tsp
  6. Corn flour: 2 tsp
  7. Chopped spinach: 100 gm
  8. Chopped garlic: ½ tsp
  9. Chopped green chili: as per taste
  10. Salt: as per taste
  11. White oil

Preparation:

  1. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and sauté chopped garlic until lightly fried.
  2. Add chopped spinach and salt, stir well, and cook until tender. Remove from the pan.
  3. In the same pan, add more oil, then mix in paneer, cheese, green chili, cumin, and coriander powder. Stir continuously.
  4. Once the paneer is lightly cooked, combine it with the sautéed spinach. Optionally, sprinkle some flour to firm the mixture.
  5. Mix corn flour and flour, add a pinch of salt and some oil and roll out slightly larger than a small flatbread.
  6. Place the paneer and spinach filling in the center, roll it like a spring roll, and seal the edges with flour paste.
  7. Deep fry until golden brown, cut into pieces, and serve hot with tomato sauce.
